New South Construction Supply acquires Increte
New South Construction Supply announced the acquisition of Increte of North Florida, a concrete construction material distributor and supplier based in Jacksonville, Florida.
“I am happy to welcome Grant Denny, president and CEO of Increte of North Florida, and his employees to the New South team," said Jim Sobeck, president and CEO of New South Construction Supply, a distributor of construction products to commercial and residential general contractors and subcontractors across the Southeastern United States. "We look forward to learning more about the road and bridge business from them and expanding their business into the fabricated rebar and the tilt-up construction space. For our first foray into Florida, we could not think of a better fit for our business and for our customers.”
Abhi Singh, COO of New South Construction Supply, added that the acquisition is an example of the New South's commitment to advancing competitive choice in the industry by developing new markets and new product categories. "Our customers have clearly expressed they want a service-first partner, not just a vendor, and we look forward to filling that void for them throughout the Southeast,” said Singh.

The acquisition was finalized on Nov. 1, 2021, and Increte of North Florida will maintain operations under the New South Construction Supply name. This acquisition will result in New South Construction Supply’s first location in Florida.
