Metabo's 3 cordless finish nailers
The 18V MultiVolt 15-Gauge Brushless Angled Finish Nailer (NT1865DMAST), 18V MultiVolt 16-Gauge Brushless Finish Nailer (NT1865DMST), and the 18V MultiVolt 23-Gauge Pin Nailer (NP18DSALT) are the newest additions to Metabo's cordless nailer lineup. All come with an 18V 2.0Ah Battery with Fuel Gauge (377797M).
These cordless finish nailers are an efficient alternative on any jobsite offering freedom to move around. They are ideal for finishing applications in single family home and multi-family residential construction as well as for punch out work and remodeling. Backed by Metabo HPT’s Lifetime Lithium-Ion tool body warranty and two-year Lithium-Ion battery warranty, there’s ultimate peace of mind with Metabo HPT’s 18V cordless nailer lineup.
The driving system used is similar to Metabo HPT’s pneumatic line featuring a unique low maintenance air spring drive system that uses compressed air to drive each nail. This results in zero ramp up time increasing productivity, increased shooting speed, recoil that feels like a pneumatic nailer, quicker response time between fastener shots, better flush driving- even at an angle, and easy maintenance if the need should arise due to fewer parts to manage.
They come with a tool-less depth-of-drive dial that can be easily adjusted to adapt to woods of varying density for a professional finish. Additionally, each has a selective actuation switch that lets the user select between sequential mode or bump fire mode, when rapid nailing is preferred. A convenient tool-less, easy-to-clear nose makes it quick and simple to extract a nail should one jam during use.
A no-mar nose cap protects the work surface from markings. The narrow nose pieces help facilitate nail placement in hard-to-reach areas and tight corners. A built-in LED light on each cordless finish nailer comes in handy when working low light areas. The ergonomically formed, soft grip handles are designed for comfort during extended use.
For added safety, located on the control panel at the base of the handle is a power button. When activated, the nailer is ready for use. It automatically shuts off power after 30 minutes of inactivity. Finally, dry-fire lockout prevents cordless nailer activation when the nail count is low.
- The NT1865DMAST Cordless 15-Gauge Angled Finish Nailer accepts 1-1/4” to 2-1/2” 15-Gauge angled fasteners to tackle almost any finish project. It can drive up to 3 nails per second and 800 nails per charge using the included compact 18V 2.0Ah battery with fuel gauge. The 34° angle of the magazine allows the user to reach into corners or tight spaces with ease. An integrated pivoting belt hook adds convenience. At only 6.7 lbs, this angled finish nailer is lightweight and well-balanced for less fatigue. An open magazine allows fasteners to be easily viewed so that blank drives are avoided. - The NT1865DMST Cordless 16-Gauge Straight Finish Nailer accepts 1” to 2-1/2” 16-Gauge fasteners to install molding, chair rail, cabinetry, and other finish applications. It can drive up to 3 nails per second and 950 nails per charge using the included compact 18V 2.0Ah battery with fuel gauge. An integrated pivoting belt hook adds convenience and can be adjusted to fit on either side of the nailer. Also, a side-lock switch is incorporated to prevent accidental firing. - The NP18DSALT Cordless 23-Gauge Pin Nailer accepts 5/8”, ¾”, 1”, 1-3/16” and 1-3/8” 23-Gauge pin nails and is ideal for cabinetry, paneling, small molding/trim and craft work. It can drive up to 2-3 nails per second and 2,700 pin nails per charge using the included compact 18V 2.0Ah battery with fuel gauge. At only 3.6 lbs, this cordless pin nailer is lightweight and well-balanced for less fatigue. A built-in counterweight reduces recoil, and a slim nose design helps to nail in the grooves of any trim. An integrated belt hook adds convenience and can be adjusted to fit on either side of the nailer. A no-push safety tip reduces marring for a clean finish. MSRP: $229.97
