Monaghan Tooling Group introduces Vergnano P-Series High Performance Taps for demanding applications in difficult-to-machine materials.
Manufactured of powdered metal and PVD coatings, they are designed to meet the highest production demands. Available as both cutting and forming taps, in sizes from 1mm to 40mm (0.0393” to 1.5748”), with thread types M, MF, UNC, UNF, and G. Vergnano P-Series High Performance Taps allow increased speed while maintaining tight tolerances and ensuring the structural integrity of the critical components. Vergnano taps create threaded holes with speed, precision, and reliability, making them ideal for automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, agriculture, and general applications.
TAppFinder, an interactive, online resource helps customers with tap selection based on materials to be machined, hole type, tap type, thread type, and tolerance. With an extensive selection of over 5,500 standard taps, Vergnano can address a variety of applications. In addition to standard taps, they can design and manufacture custom taps for specific applications with short lead times.
An iOS version of TAppFinder is also available for download from the App Store. With decades of experience, Vergnano applications engineers have the expertise to guide customers to which of their many designs and configurations are best suited for the required application, or if custom designs may better serve their needs.
Vergnano manufactures over 2 million taps a year in their 161,000 square foot (15,000 square meters) factory located in Chieri, Italy. All products are manufactured start-to-finish, in-house.
