Boost efficiency, productivity with quick turnaround custom-cut industrial belts

Dayco now offers the ability to custom cut several of its most popular industrial belts. This new service gives distributors the opportunity to supply end users with the right belt in a short window of time, boosting sales potential and increasing productivity.

Being able to order custom widths for hard-to-find belt sizes means distributors no longer have to wait months for a special application. Nor do they have to invest in hundreds of part numbers just to have good mix of inventory. This service is now available for Dayco’s premium banded V-belts as well as our synchronous timing belts.
Dayco Gold Label banded V-belts include 215 different size sleeves that can be cut to 1,500 standard size SKUs, along with special widths, providing extensive options for a range of applications such as sawmills, compressors and textile machinery. Dayco Gold Label banded belts come in both wrapped molded construction and raw edge versions. They provide excellent resistance to abrasion, wear and oil, and are ideal in circumstances for high shock or pulsating loads.
The Dayco HT POWER synchronous belt line includes 351 different size sleeves that can be cut to any size width, providing 3,674 standard size SKUs along with any custom width required. Belts are available in a number of different tooth profiles and types, offering excellent dimensional stability and performance, as well as heat, oil, abrasion and wear resistance.
While most manufacturers will only stock belts that have large volumes of movement with extensive turns, being able to supply custom sizes was a key strategy for our team in the last 12 months. In addition, another area we focused on was expanding our facilities capabilities so we could improve delivery and turnaround times. The majority of orders can now be filled and shipped in a minimum of 1-5 days, depending on quantities.
