New ENVIRO-CLEAN CIP WASH for food, beverage, and dairy processing plants

Madison Chemical introduces new ENVIRO-CLEAN CIP WASH, a chlorinated, alkaline CIP cleaner containing a high percentage of available chlorine in a heavy-duty, high-sequestered formulation for maximum performance in food, beverage, and dairy plants with minimal environmental impact.

Madison's Enviro Clean CIPIt is non-foaming, even at high concentration and high circulation velocities, and is free rinsing in hard or soft water. Formulated to perform in challenging environments, this unique formulation is free of phosphates, NPE surfactants, PFAS, and EDTA, and is Prop 65 compliant.

ENVIRO-CLEAN CIP WASH is acceptable for use as a general cleaner (A1) on all surfaces in and around food processing areas where its use is not intended for direct food contact. Equipment cleaned with ENVIRO-CLEAN CIP WASH is virtually spotless, making it ideal for circulation-in-place cleaning of equipment lines, etc., within food, beverage, and dairy processing facilities of all kinds and sizes.

The versatile cleaner is typically used at 0.5 to 3% by volume at 130–170°F, never permitting the available chlorine level to fall below 50 ppm. Conditions of use vary considerably due to the extent of differences in soils and deposits as well as the base materials from which they are removed. Madison technical sales representatives are available to assist in determining dilution rates and contact times.

Before using ENVIRO-CLEAN CIP WASH food products and packaging materials must be removed from the room or carefully protected. After use, all surfaces must be thoroughly rinsed with potable water. ENVIRO-CLEAN CIP WASH is safe for ferrous or stainless alloys when used as directed; may etch or stain aluminum and zinc alloys.

ENVIRO-CLEAN CIP WASH is part of the ENVIRO-CLEAN line of cleaning chemicals developed to provide superior cleaning performance while meeting modern environmental standards. They are designed for the increased focus on the relationship between cleaning chemistry and wastewater systems, both municipal and within production facilities. The full lineup includes a range of alkaline, acidic, and neutral products that are free of phosphates, NPE Surfactants, PFAS, and EDTA while remaining Prop 65 compliant.
