Fixtureworks One-Touch Push Lock Clamps with new safety lock feature
Fixtureworks, a North American manufacturer and supplier of clamps, fixturing accessories, machine tool components and rollers & bumpers, now offers quick lock One-Touch Push Lock Clamps with safety lock feature that provide easy, toolless locking with a 90-degree turn for slide and angle adjustment.
These push lock clamps (QCPS) are versatile enough to clamp on various shaped objects such as square bars, round shafts and linear rails in many sizes. An internal spring keeps the clamping force constant to prevent over/under tightening. An indicator line and the “touch” of a click allow user more secure and reliable operation.
The safety lock style version (QCPSL) automatically locks the handle in the clamping position in order to prevent accidental unclamping and accidental lever operation for more secure and reliable performance.
The clamps are available in two tip styles — flat tip and diamond tip. The flat tip provides just enough force not to damage an object, while the diamond tip provides an increase in holding force. They are available with black or orange plastic handle, or stainless steel. The locking version is available only with stainless steel handle.
The piston diameters range in size from 8.5 to 14 mm and provide 45 to 90 pounds. clamping force. A new heavy-duty push-lock clamp offers clamping force of 248 lb. The height ranges from 35.5 to 39 mm, weighing up to 160 g. The clamp body is made from 303 stainless steel. The handle made from polyamide or 304 stainless steel.
